Maya makes this all much harder, it seems sometimes. I like Phong E textures for metallic surfaces like the Amarr ships (boost the HSV numbers above 1 for a sheen). Haven't decided which is better for Minmatar, yet. Some angles it looks great, so...

Thanks for the input. I must be misinterpreting the numbers on some of these ships. Staring blankly at a new ship its hard to tell what's important and most effective in designing a load out. Right now I'm using a Bellicose for mining, a Hoarder...
